Also known as Tullamarine Airport, Melbourne Airport is the primary airport serving the city of Melbourne and the second busiest airport in Australia. Located 23 km from the city centre, it services domestic and international flights to over thirty destinations including all Australian states and territories and numerous destinations in Oceania, Asia, Africa, Europe and North America.
Acting as a major hub for Qantas and Virgin Australia, the airport is also a home base for Jetstar Airways and Tiger Airways Australia (Tigerair). The airport comprises four terminals: one international terminal, two domestic terminals and one budget domestic terminal.
Melbourne Airport has a number of parking facilities including a short term car park, a multi level long term car park, a business car park and an express car park. Additionally there are disabled parks and drop off/pick up access points.
Services available to travellers inside the airport include currency exchange and banking facilities, wireless internet, travellers’ information service, medical centre, showers, public telephones and Melbourne Airport Golf Club.
